FAQ's

What isn’t! From the moment you arrive, we’ve got your back on all the activities, accommodations, meals, dance parties, Arizona sunshine, and total human connections. All you gotta do is show up.

The inaugural camp will begin at 11:00am on Friday, August 25th until Sunday, August 27th at 2:00pm.

We are excited and privileged to hold our inaugural camp at the beautiful Camp Daisy and Harry Stein (formerly Camp Pearlstein) in Prescott, Arizona.

We totally get it. While we will do our best to accommodate scheduling conflicts, please note that program fees cannot be adjusted. Once you leave the premises, you are not allowed to re-enter so we can preserve the camp experience.

As we want to limit our carbon footprint, we encourage you to carpool with friends to camp. We will send a spreadsheet with carpool names and contact information.

Bring earplugs.

Unfortunately, the camp is not wheelchair accessible at this time.

“You are never too young to do anything until you are too old!” The minimum age requirement is 18+ with a max being 120. And if you’re 120, we want to meet you! Our camp is designed for all ages, however, we are catering to working professionals in the 25-55 demographic. Singles, couples, partners, college students, family members, circus artists, real estate agents, web developers, cruise ship performers, ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT CAN COME TO CAMP!

No. Like summer camp when we were kids, alcohol is not allowed at the camp ground.

Camp Unplugg'd is a drug free event. Anyone caught with or doing any illegal substances will be escorted from the camp and may face legal consequences.

Cancellation by Camper: If you need to cancel for any reason, you must notify us before August 1st for a full refund. Cancellations will be accepted via phone or email and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. There will be no refunds after August 1st, 2017. Cancellation by Camp Unplugg'd: In the unlikely event that camp is cancelled, we will refund all tickets to campers. We will not, however, be able to refund flight, hotel, or other purchases made in advance. Listed workshops, counselors, and activities are subject to change should unforeseeable circumstances arise. Purchase of a ticket indicates you have read and agree to comply with this cancellation policy. This policy is subject to change; all registered attendees will be notified of any changes. Camp Unplugg'd reserves the right to cancel the event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a camp, Camp Unplugg'd has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer the registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Camp Unplugg'd is not for everyone (while we totally believe all of us can use a digital detox!). With our lives constantly moving and w*rk never ending, we find this much more difficult to do in the default world. We challenge you to go a full weekend with no phone, tv, clocks, social media or wifi. It is nearly impossible. And kinda liberating. We are providing a safe, FUN, and inclusive environment where you can unplug without distraction or impulse. AND to be silly, honest, and authentic without fear of it winding up on YouTube and then going on Ellen to explain yourself.

1. R+R+R. Rejuvenation, Rest, and Relaxation. Take a nap in a hammock. Clear your mind. Improve patience, attention span, and human (gasp!) face-to-face communication.

2. Connect with old friends, make new ones. Share experiences with like-minded people. Learn new skills. Like circus arts.

3. Accountability. Power in numbers-100 people unplugging will make it easier for you to stay unplugg’d too.

Yes, AND only film, disposable, and polaroid!

Healthy, camp choices will be served family and buffet style. We will do our best to accommodate all dietary needs/restrictions in advance. Please email Mighty Mouse with the subject line: "Cookie Monster is Gluten-Free" so she knows how to respond.

Yes, ALL stuffed animals are welcome : )

Sky-Harbor Airport in Phoenix, AZ., 2 hours from Prescott.

Nope. Everyone will “check in to check out.” We will check in all devices upon arrival so you can be totally free of technology. Devices will be secured safely and returned to you at the end of camp.

We will have a camp phone number that we will give to our campers in case of emergency. This can be given to your friends and family. If you are still concerned, we recommend that you tell your w*rk colleagues, clients, email contacts, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, and any other social media where will you be. Trust us, you’ll be okay. And of course, if you DO need to get to your phone immediately where you need to leave camp, we will of course give it to you. We're not that cruel :)

Yes! All countries and alien-life forms are welcome. Fun Fact: Pluto was discovered 2 hours away at Northern Arizona University (NAU) Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, AZ. And yes, we still believe Pluto is a planet.

Brilliant! We love campers who have special skills and want to contribute. Please email Mighty Mouse directly as there may be an opportunity for you to staff camp. If there is not an opportunity to staff, there will be a place at camp for you to share your skills with new friends.
